Belize is 8,867 square miles and sits on the northeastern coast of Central America. This small country lies on the eastern or Caribbean coast of Central America, bounded on the north and part of the west by Mexico, and on the south and the remainder of the west by Guatemala. Belize is the only Central American country with English as a first language.
Though small, Belize boasts the largest Barrier Reef in the Western Hemisphere, the famous ‘Blue Hole, three of the four pristine atolls in the Atlantic, over 200 sand islands, the only Jaguar Preserve in the world and over 500 species of exotic birds.

English is the official language of Belize. However, English Creole is widely spoken.
Spanish is also spoken, Garifuna and Maya.
Climate:
Belize has a sub tropical climate with an average temperature of 80 degrees F. Winters can get as low as the 60's and summer months can be in the 90"s.
